Euro-VALDI-NET invites CA-23146 Action participants with a primary affiliation to a legal entity located in a COST Full or Cooperating Member country, a COST Near Neighbour Country or a European RTD Organisation to apply for the Virtual Mobility Grant. In total, 1 grant will be funded for a total sum of €1500.

Goal of the Virtual Mobility Grant

This Virtual Mobility grant is intended for the applicant(s) to harmonize the existing registries and databases within the field of Vascular Liver Disorders, in collaboration with VALDI-Reg and ERN Rare Liver Registry R-Liver.

Eligibility criteria

Applicant is participating in this COST Action with a primary affiliation to a legal entity located in a COST Full or Cooperating Member country, a COST Near Neighbour Country or a European RTD Organisation. Applicants who are Young Researchers and Innovators (i.e. age<40y at time of application) and/or those coming from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) are particularly invited to apply, but this is not mandatory.

The start and end-date of the Virtual Mobility needs to be within the grant period, i.e. Nov 1 2024 - Oct 31 2025. Motilities finishing before September 30 2025 will be prioritized

Applicants with experience in databases on vascular liver diseases (and in particular with VALDI-Reg and ERN Rare Liver Registry R-Liver) will be prioritized

Report of VM mobility visit after grant awarding

After grant awarding, the applicant shall send an online grant report within 6 weeks after end of the project, describing the outcomes and how the work has benefited the applicant(s), and this COST Action. This report can be found here: https://www.cost.eu/VM_Report

Vascular liver diseases are a heterogeneous group of rare disorders characterized by an impaired vascular flow in the splanchnic and/or intrahepatic vasculature. They mainly include recent portal vein thrombosis, portal cavernoma, porto-sinusoidal vascular disorder, Budd-Chiari syndrome and sinusoidal obstruction syndrome.
