Open Call for the 2025 Dissemination Conference Grant

Euro-VALDI-NET invites CA-23146 Action participants with a primary affiliation to a legal entity located in a COST Full or Cooperating Member country, a COST Near Neighbour Country or a European RTD Organisation to apply for the Virtual Mobility Grant.

In total, 1 grant will be funded for a total sum of €1000

 

Goal of the Dissemination Conference Grant

This Dissemination Conference grant is intended to support travel and accommodation for an COST Action participant member in order to present work directly resulting from the EURO-VALDI-NET Action’s objectives at an high-impact international conference, organized by a third party (i.e. not COST related). The overall goal is to increase the visibility of the Action in the research community and attract additional participants / stakeholders and to disseminate the Action results to the relevant high-end users.

Eligibility criteria

Applicant is participating in this COST Action with a primary affiliation to a legal entity located in a COST Full or Cooperating Member country, a COST Near Neighbour Country or a European RTD Organisation. The start and end-date of the Conference needs to be within the grant period, i.e. Nov 1 2024 - Oct 31 2025

The applicant is traveling to present work on behalf of the EURO-VALDI-NET COST Action in the form of an oral presentation at one of the international high impact conferences, related to vascular liver disorders, such as EASL, AASLD, ISTH, ISEV, EMBO, etc.

The applicant will promote the EURO-VALDI-NET Cost Action by acknowledgement of this grant in the presentation, and invite others to join this Action.

  • Acceptance letter of the oral presentation by the third party Conference organizers

Grant Timeline

Grant deadline application: M June 19, 2025, 23:59hr CET

Grant awarding decision: early July

The conference visit needs to be completed by Sept 15 2025

Report of Dissemination Conference grant after grant awarding

After grant awarding, the applicant shall send an online grant report within 6 weeks after the end of the Conference, describing how the grant has benefited the COST Action. This report can be found here:  https://www.cost.eu/DisseminationConference_Report Also, it is mandatory that in all publications / presentations / posters, the COST logo is used and for papers this grant is acknowledged.

Vascular liver diseases are a heterogeneous group of rare disorders characterized by an impaired vascular flow in the splanchnic and/or intrahepatic vasculature. They mainly include recent portal vein thrombosis, portal cavernoma, porto-sinusoidal vascular disorder, Budd-Chiari syndrome and sinusoidal obstruction syndrome.
