The Action supports several grant mechanisms:

  • Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs): Facilitate research visits.
  • Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grants: Support participation from ITC researchers.
  • Young Researchers and Innovators (YRI) Grants: Fund training, networking, and early-stage research.
  • Training Schools: Specialized training for VLD research and clinical management.
  • Dissemination Grants: Support for communication, open access publications, and outreach.

Vascular liver diseases are a heterogeneous group of rare disorders characterized by an impaired vascular flow in the splanchnic and/or intrahepatic vasculature. They mainly include recent portal vein thrombosis, portal cavernoma, porto-sinusoidal vascular disorder, Budd-Chiari syndrome and sinusoidal obstruction syndrome.
